MILMA is opportunity:
- For unemployed people, since an innovative training action is launched in sectors with a high potential for employability. Throughout this training they will work on social skills and inclusion too.
- For enterprises, since they will have the opportunity of improve their visibility collaborating on this experimental Project and working on training unemployed people.
- For Fuenlabrada, since it becomes an European showcase and at the forefront of the experimental initiatives of employment, entrepreneurship and social inclusion.
- For Europe, since Fuenlabrada promotes the creation of synergies beteween all different territories and the exchange of good practices.
The objective of MILMA is to generate an efficient model of access to employment, work reconversion and inclusion, which in addition helps to improve the number and the opportunities of access to employment, promotes exchange and mutual knowledge, facilitates and promotes inclusion processes and the strengthening of social cohesion in Fuenlabrada.
MILMA Project & Urban Innovative Actions (UIA)
On 10th October 2017, Fuenlabrada was chosen along with 15 other cities among 206 projects in the second proposal of Urban Innovative Actions (UIA).
Urban Innovative Actions (UIA) is an Initiative of the European Union that provides urban areas throughout Europe with resources to test new and unproven solutions to address urban challenges. Based on article 8 of ERDF, the Initiative has a total ERDF budget of EUR 372 million for 2014-2020.
